Terms of Use
Last updated: 3 November 2026 · See also our Privacy Policy
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using MoveOnLah (the "App") you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App. You must be at least 18, or 13 with a parent's or guardian's consent, and legally able to enter a contract.
2. Driving safety
Always obey traffic laws, road signs, police directions and actual road conditions — they override anything the App shows or says. Do not touch, set up or read the App while driving; set your destination before moving or let a passenger operate it.
Use of a mobile phone while driving may be an offence under the Road Transport Act 1987. You are solely responsible for how and when you use the App.
3. Information accuracy
Routes, travel times, traffic, lane hints, speed and place details come from third parties (including Google Maps Platform), other drivers and automated systems. They may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Lane guidance is advisory and may not reflect actual lane markings.
Driver reports are user-generated and unverified. AI route advice is a suggestion only, may contain errors, and is not professional advice. Never rely on the App as your only source of information, especially in emergencies.
4. Your account
Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly about any unauthorised use. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
5. Acceptable use
You must not: submit false, misleading or malicious reports; report or harass identifiable people; use reports to help evade lawful enforcement in a way that is illegal; scrape, reverse-engineer, overload or attack the App; misuse map or AI services; upload content you have no right to use or that is unlawful, offensive or infringing; or impersonate anyone.
We may remove content and restrict access at our discretion, without notice, where we reasonably believe these rules are broken.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of reports, recordings and images you create. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display and share reports with other users to operate the App. You confirm you have the rights to anything you upload, such as car icons.
7. Sponsored places and advertisers
Sponsored content is labelled and never changes your route. MoveOnLah does not endorse advertisers and is not responsible for their goods, services, offers, prices or conduct; any transaction is solely between you and the business.
Advertisers warrant that their listings and offers are accurate, lawful and comply with the Consumer Protection Act 1999 and advertising rules. We may approve, reject, pause or remove listings at our discretion. Fees follow the issued invoice, are payable by the due date and are non-refundable except where required by law or agreed in writing. Advertisers indemnify us against claims arising from their listings or offers.
7A. Advertiser portal
Only the account that submits a listing may manage it. New listings and edits to live listings are reviewed before going public; approval is not an endorsement or a guarantee of placement, ranking or results.
Offers publish immediately and you are solely responsible for their accuracy, availability, pricing, promo codes and honouring them. You must not publish false discounts, prohibited goods or services, or content that infringes others' rights.
Portal statistics (impressions, views, directions, calls, website taps) are anonymous, approximate and provided for information only; they are not a basis for disputing invoices.
Invoices are paid by bank transfer to the account shown on the invoice. Unpaid invoices may lead to pausing or suspension. You are responsible for your own taxes. We may suspend listings immediately for breach, complaints, legal risk or non-payment.
8. Third-party services
The App relies on services such as Google Maps, YouTube, AI providers and hosting providers, each under its own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, content or changes. Google Maps content is subject to Google's Terms of Service.
9. Intellectual property
The App, its design, brand, software and original artwork belong to MoveOnLah or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App. Third-party voice packs remain the property of their creators.
10. Service availability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or discontinue any feature at any time. GPS, network, device and map availability can fail without warning.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoveOnLah and its owners, staff and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for accidents, injury, vehicle damage, traffic fines, summonses, delays, missed appointments, fuel or toll costs, lost profits or data, arising from use of or reliance on the App, driver reports, sponsored content or third-party services.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or RM100. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be limited by law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold MoveOnLah harmless from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, your driving, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
14. Termination
You may stop using the App and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or end your access for breach, legal requirement or risk to others. Sections that by nature should survive (including 6, 7, 11–13 and 15) survive termination.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Before starting proceedings, both parties will try in good faith to resolve a dispute by contacting each other for 30 days. Unresolved disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, without affecting any right to use the Tribunal for Consumer Claims.
16. General
If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. We may update these Terms; continued use after notice means you accept the changes. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the App. If translations differ, the English version prevails.
